Chinatown and an anniversary...

We have been doing a lot of sightseeing the past 2 days and we still have so much more to see!

Day 3-
Wednesday, we went down to Chinatown. We did a little shopping and visited an Indian and Chinese Temple. We rode the MRT (subway), which was a 1st for Mom and Dad. The weather was great - no rain, which was perfect for shopping on the streets.

Day 4-
Thursday, was Mom and Dad's 32nd anniversary. We had a relaxing morning and after lunch we took a trip to Merlion Park. We decided to take a taxi, which I'm so glad we did. Our driver was very informative...he pointed out lots of government buildings - Treasury, Parliament, etc. Then we walked around the Merlion and had a little snack. Of course it started to rain, so we quickly got under cover and hailed a taxi home.

For dinner we we had a sitter come so we could have a nice dinner out. We brought them to a plate-smash'n Spanish restaurant. So fun! Mom and Dad ordered a flaming coffee for dessert too!

Today, is Good Friday, so Terry is off work. Yea!! We have a full weekend planed so there will be lots of pictures to come.
