Indian food and a good hike

Last night we met some friends in "Little India". The streets were filled with fruit and vegetable stands. We passed by a Hindu Temple and lots of Indian gold jewelry stores. We ate at "Banana Leaf Apollo". It was a delicious Indian restaurant. They serve your food on an actual banana leaf. The guys wanted to be like the locals and eat with their hands. Not something I cared to do.

The green mats are banana leaves. The guys were eating with their hands...

Today, we went for a hike at McRitchie Reservoir. We did this a couple of weeks ago and we wanted to show Aaron. We opted for the shorter walk this time (5 miles instead 12). We saw tons of monkeys again....actually more than last time. Hiking in this rainforest is one of my favorite things to do in Singapore!

One of the many monkeys we saw today.

Aaron walking with Kaitlyn...she was a little wobbly on the rocks.

Aaron carried Kaitlyn for part of the hike.

She ended up falling asleep towards the end.
