Our little family took a trip to Bali Indonesia for about 4 days. It really was beautiful! Let me tell you a little bit about Bali. It is a an Island in the Indian Ocean. It is just south of the equator. The beaches are absolutely gorgeous! The water is crystal clear. We have never seen water like this. Terry walked out waist deep and you could still see his feet! After being on the beautiful beach we hired a driver and took a drive around the island. I was very surprised to find this country to be so poor. Kids constantly running up to you trying to sell pencils and postcards. Women walking the streets with baskets of goods on their head. Men with machetes harvesting fruit. I have never seen anything like this, except on tv, and it was a very humbling experience. The scenery, rice fields, palm trees, volcanoes, all were breath taking!
As for Kaitlyn, she did pretty good. She is just very active so there was not much lounging by the pool! She did not take naps while we were there. She was just too excited to sleep.
We had a great trip and it was only about a 2 hour flight!

Then we went up by the volcano. There was a cool breeze! The last time we felt cool air like this was in December. Oh...it was very refreshing!
